If you have an emergency and must come in without an appointment, we will make every effort to see you as quickly as possible. If you experience sudden or partial vision loss, chemical burns, trauma or severe pain, call the office immediately at (919) 870-1880. Of course, if the trauma is severe, you should go directly to the emergency room or call 911. If you are having an eye emergency and it is after hours, call (919) 870-1880. You will be connected with the emergency pager system.

Should any chemical or foreign substance be splashed into the eye, rinse the eye profusely under a gentle stream of clean water for at least ten minutes. Do not wait until you get to the office.
